Permanent Position – Government Agency CBD location – 3 days a week working from Home $121,250 – $132,764 super – Management of SQL Database The role The primary purpose of the Database Administrator is the design and management of the organisation’s SQL database to ensure secure access and availability in accordance with the needs of the business. Responsibilities Manage the organisation’s SQL database technology Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate vendors and manage these in accordance with agreed service level agreements Provides advice on technical aspects of database and report development Troubleshooting and deep dive into SQL server issues / performance Knowledge on how to provision/setup SQL server resources from scratch You will have Minimum of five years of experience as a Database Administrator in a SQL Environment Demonstrable experience in managing Microsoft Azure SQL PaaS and Microsoft Azure SQL Managed Instance Strategic business acumen and understanding of organisation strategy and ability to design database design to meet the organisation strategy Knowledge of the ITIL framework is mandatory Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills What’s in it for you Permanent Position CBD Location – Working from Home Government Agency Please apply today to secure an interview or for more information email Sarah Jordan on sarah.jordantalentinternational.com.
