They have established a reputation for delivering a full range of Structural Engineering services across the mining, industrial and oil & gas sectors. With the announcement of a new project coming online, there is an immediate requirement for an upcoming Structural Engineer to join the Brisbane team. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will gain exposure to their full suite of engineering services while focusing on complex industrial and mining projects. You will join a close team that is passionate about the work they do while enjoying a few laughs along the way. Your responsibilities will include: Deliver high-quality and innovative structural designs and documentation for complex mine process facilities Complete detailed designs for industrial and mine process plants Design reinforced concrete, steel and post-tensioned concrete structures. Participate in projects from concept design through to construction and delivery Liaise with client representatives within national mining houses and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines Critically assess and review designs by other colleagues Use a range of software packages including SpaceGass, Strand7, RAPT and ETABS Collaborate with and support the Structures team The ideal experiences consist of: Tertiary qualifications within Civil/Structural Engineering, ideally with RPEQ Minimum of five years experience as a Design Engineer working on Australian projects Excellent structural analysis and design skills Strong background working across industrial and or mine infrastructure projects Understanding of the Australian statutory and regulatory requirements Experience working in a client-facing capacity Competency in running projects from inception to completion. Post-tensioned concrete experience would be advantageous. Proficient in the use of engineering design software tools.
