ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a Global Freight Forwarder and Supply Chain provider, with a head office in Brisbane and offices in both Melbourne and Sydney. They have a strong focus on building and implementing internal systems and processes to navigate and strongly support growth in the current market. ABOUT THE ROLE With expansion and growth, our client wants to add a Customer Service Representative to their close knit team. The ideal candidate brings experience in a similar customer-facing role in International Freight Forwarding. Maintaining a portfolio of accounts, you will work closely with your clients and internal departments to oversee and ensure the smooth execution of freight movements, procurement of rates, general queries and customer growth. DUTIES • Maintain and grow a portfolio of accounts • Rate procurement and quoting • Troubleshoot any potential issues or queries • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure minimal delays • Build strong relationships with external stakeholders SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • 2-3 years experience in a freight forwarding role (Customer Service preferred) • Understand end to end import / export freight forwarder process • Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and written • Ability to multi-task efficiently • Strong computer literacy COMPANY CULTURE Small and friendly team with a supportive and flexible environment.
