ABOUT THE ROLE This position is accountable for the administrative, financial and organisational operations of Equitable Learning and Disability Support. It works closely with the Equitable Learning and Disability Support Advisors and external agencies to ensure that students with a disability, long-term illness and/or mental health condition are actively and positively included in all aspects of Chisholm life and can participate equally with other students. The incumbent is a key and active participant of the Student Support and Engagement team and provides timely responses and support to colleagues across the organisation, students and external support service providers. The position also requires the astute handling of sensitive, complex and demanding scenarios involving multiple stakeholders.As an Equitable Learning and Disability Support Administrator, your key responsibilities include: Coordinate in-class support for students with a disability, including enabling staff, assistive technology etc Deliver a range of routine equitable learning and disability support administrative functions utilising a range of systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee and facilitate the sourcing, purchasing, tracking, use, maintenance and repair of disability related equipment, assistive technology and software including the liaison with relevant Equitable Learning and Disability Support and Chisholm staff as required. Undertake financial administrative duties. This includes processing purchasing requisitions,payments of invoices, reconciling credit card and producing reports for monitoring purposes using Chisholm Financial System (Finance 1). Be a central point of contact between the ELDS unit, Chisholm staff and external support agencies to ensure that students with a Learning Access Plan (LAP) are supported with enabling staff. ABOUT YOU You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of staff and students in an education environment Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workload in a busy/demanding environment and complete competing work tasks within specified timeframes. Qualifications required for the role: Post-secondary qualification in relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience.
