More About the Role at Aveo The Opportunity \Location: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane\ Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, you'll lead operations and enhancements of Aveo's end user device fleet and configuration including laptops, desktops and printers. What we offer - Up to 12 weeks paid parental leave - 2 additional 'All About Me' leave days per calendar year - Ability to purchase additional annual leave - Flexible working arrangements - Opportunities for further career development You will - Provide escalation support for emerging issues & service requests relating to Aveo's end-user productivity and hardware platforms (Laptops, Desktops, File Print) - Support the Aveo Service Desk team through your practical procedures and automation. - Own device life cycle matters, fleet device selections, budgets, ordering, as well as vendor relationships to help support our strategy. - Ticket and case management, ownership of complex cases, business critical incidents. - Manage standardisation of Aveo's endpoint devices via templated images and configuration items (GPO and Intune policies) to create/maintain an enterprise SoE. - Maintain consistency of application and hardware provisioning throughout the business via Aveo's MDM platforms and ensure integrity in Aveo's asset management source of truth. - Drive and own our adoption of MDW in this portfolio, including transitions to AutoPilot, for example. - Application packaging and deployment through automated means (script or platform) including configuration items to support security best-practices - Own, monitor, respond and adjust security posture of the fleet, and its network connectivity options. What you'll bring - Experience working within a Service Desk supporting complex, enterprise-wide applications and their underlying infrastructure. - Experience with troubleshooting and supporting multi-site network environments (SD-WAN, MPLS) or other managed services. - Experience provisioning traditional and emerging digital communication services such as ISDN/PSTN, SIP, Teams, Zoom, etc. - Experience managing an enterprise fleet of mobile or collaboration systems, (such as MS Teams, Zoom, Webex etc) and ITIL-driven security practices including patching and service/hardware lifecycle management. - Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident management & root-cause analysis) - Knowledge in repair practices and failure analysis of hardware and end-user applications - Experience with developing or improving enterprise SoE management practices and strategies via MDM platforms (Intune, Desktop Central, Jamf etc.) - Capable of managing traditional Microsoft technologies across the end-user portfolio, including Windows Desktop OS, M365/Intune, Active Directory/AAD and other supporting platforms to manage these effectively. - Experience with Microsoft SaaS cloud technologies, especially Intune, Endpoint Device Manager and Defender. - Support of an enterprise workplace technology fleet of services (File, Print, DNS etc.) - Proficiency with at least one scripting/automation language such as Python, Powershell, Bash etc. If you don’t think you're a perfect fit, you should still sign up to Hatch and create a profile, we'll match you to other roles that suit your profile.
