This role offers the opportunity to work on a significant project focused on expanding and debottlenecking the port capacity, with a specific focus on reconfiguring rail infrastructure. Project Overview: Project: BHP – Port Debottlenecking Project 2 (PDP2) Scope: Rail infrastructure reconfiguration Location: Perth, WA – QV1 Contract Duration: 12-month initial contract The Role: As a Senior Civil Designer, you will play a crucial part in delivering the rail scopes of work for this major infrastructure project. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing detailed civil designs for the rail components of the project. Providing technical expertise, offering advice and recommendations during the design phase. Collaborating with engineers and drafters to ensure project designs meet specifications. Producing design drawings in line with client and industry requirements. Key Requirements: Advanced Diploma, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Civil Design or a related field. Minimum 8 years of civil design experience, particularly in mining and rail projects. Proficiency in MicroStation design software. Excellent interpersonal skills with clear communication abilities. Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
