This vibrant Soccer Club, a beloved non-profit organisation in the North Western Suburbs, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Functions and Bistro Manager. This dual-role position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both the Bistro operations and the management of various functions and events. Hours: 22-38 hours per week; Friday, Saturday, Sundays essential Key Responsibilities: Bistro Management: Oversee daily operations of the Bistro, including staff supervision, training, and coaching. Hands-on involvement in Bistro activities, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Manage rostering, inventory, and system operations (including Blue Eye). Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, engaging atmosphere. Functions Management: Coordinate all aspects of functions and events, from initial setup to pack-down. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure events run smoothly. Find and develop new leads for functions and event space. Organise events for up to 180 people, managing requirements and logistics. Connect with the community to promote the Soccer Club's event offerings. Qualifications: Previous management experience required. Experience in Bistro operations preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work hands-on in a busy environment. Proven ability to manage and train a team. Proficiency with rostering and systems, including Blue Eye. RSA and Food Safety Handling certifications are mandatory.
