Role Summary We are looking for a number of Sales Consultants and one experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead the team in this soon-to-be-opened brand-new flagship dealership store. As a Sales Manager based in Sydney, you will be working closely with the Dealer Principal to establish and lead the entry into a new market for Electric Vehicles (EVs). You will report to the leadership team and be instrumental in developing sales channels, overseeing after-sales operations, and driving the overall success of the brand in Australia. Key Responsibilities (Sales Manager) Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve market penetration and sales targets for EVs. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with EV dealers and infrastructure providers to support business goals. Oversee the customer journey, ensuring high satisfaction through effective lead management, test drives, and seamless financing options. Monitor and evaluate the dealer network, providing analytical reports and actionable insights to improve performance. Drive business development with key accounts, identifying opportunities for expansion and increased market share. Conduct market and competitor analyses to adapt strategies and stay ahead of industry trends. Plan and execute promotional events and pop-up exhibitions, managing site selection, setup, and lead generation activities. Enhance and streamline sales management systems, processes, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities (Sales Consultant) Stay informed on vehicle specs, pricing, and market trends to provide relevant recommendations Facilitate vehicle delivery and ensure a smooth handover with operational instructions for customers Engage with customers on the showroom floor, offering product insights, demonstrations, and leading test drives Collaborate with finance, service, and parts teams to streamline the sales process Manage and nurture relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring follow-up and ongoing satisfaction Guide clients from initial inquiry through to purchase and aftersale support Support marketing efforts by participating in events and promotions, contributing to team success Meet individual and team sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer care Record customer interactions and sales details precisely in the CRM system Adapt to changes in the business environment while consistently surpassing sales targets Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, business management, economics, automotive engineering, or a related field. For Sale Manager - Over 5 years of experience in automotive sales, preferably within the EV sector. For Sales Consultant - Over 2 years in automotive sales. Strong network and established relationships with automotive dealers and EV infrastructure providers. Proven leadership in managing complex sales projects and implementing strategic initiatives. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to thrive under pressure and demonstrate strong initiative and innovation. Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to travel extensively across the region. Australian PR or citizen Preferred Skills and Experience In-depth knowledge of EV technology, charging infrastructure, and government incentives. Experience with CRM tools and sales forecasting.
