Due to internal promotion, there is now a rare opportunity to join this reputable organisation and help drive their small Customer Service team to the next level. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the "hands-on" management of the Customer Service team to achieve the efficient handling of enquiries from Franchisees, Industrial, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) amongst other customers. You will hold prior experience from a small to medium sized business, bringing fresh eyes and a technically savvy skillset to enhance this already high performing and close-knit team. About the role Lead Customer Service and Administration teams to meet service and budget goals. Provide training and support to improve team skills and system knowledge. Continuously enhance customer service processes for quality order handling. Implement effective customer communication strategies for service and issue resolution. Ensure accurate, timely order processing and follow-up for quotes, orders, and invoices. Handle product availability, pricing, and technical information requests efficiently. Use ERP reporting to track and improve KPI achievement. Monitor and resolve customer complaints promptly. Adhere to health and safety protocols, including audits and training. About you Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a Customer Service environment, working at 2IC level or above. Proven experience managing, coaching, training and developing teams. Technically savvy with the ability to adapt to new ways of working, and a curious mindset always looking for ways to improve current processes and practices. Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking and conflict resolutions skills. Strong organisational and time management skills. Proficient in the MS Office Suite and experience utilising ERP databases. Understanding of the logistics flow from manufacturing, invoicing to shipping would be beneficial. Previous experience in retail, automotive or franchisee businesses preferred but not essential.
