More About the Role at Myob About the role We are looking for an experienced SDR to join, hit the ground running and directly contribute toward Flare’s next growth phase. The principal responsibilities for this position are to generate a pipeline from multiple lead sources (Inbound, Outbound and Partner). Reps are expected to achieve their pipeline and related targets and will be asked to provide weekly forecast updates and visibility into this growing business. Understand your patch, build pipeline and close business to ensure target achievement Become a value-based, rather than product-based salesperson Manage leads, qualify and prioritise opportunities. Maintain a clean pipeline, and provide accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts Your day to day - Generating highly qualified opportunities for the sales team by conducting phone meetings to discover as much useful information as possible to assist in handing off to the Sales team. - Actively following up and nurturing all open leads within your individual sales pipeline - maximising your chance to convert these lead opportunities. - Research potential customers and identify new leads through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and cold calling. - Demonstrating team values, maintaining an optimistic view and embracing/seeking feedback. - Proactively contributing to the team’s culture, and team discussions, attending and participating in team meetings. The skills you'll need - Min 2 years’ experience in B2B telesales/SDR/BDM role - A hunter mentality to find and cultivate new business. - Experience in maintaining a high-volume sales pipeline. - Self starter, goal and numbers oriented individual - Articulate, with strong written and verbal communication skills, time management skills, and team orientation - A can-do, positive mindset, and the flexibility necessary to thrive in a scale-up, high-growth environment - A BA/BS degree, or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. - Experience and previous success with prospecting and selling via phone. - Strong capacity to develop relationships quickly over the phone. - An analytical mind and experience in developing solution-selling skills. - Proven success in a role with weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets. - Ability to build cross-functional relationships. - Experience in positioning tech solutions would be an advantage.
