The Role: The incumbent will be responsible for managing complex projects and project budgets, providing and contributing to the preparation of meaningful progress reports for senior management, preparing technical reports for specialist consultants, assessing the needs of disparate user groups during the design stage, and providing timely updates to stakeholders during the construction phase. Project manage major and minor projects on all campuses Liaise with the builder on construction times, costs & quality, ensuring these are in line with the project plan Resolve construction/equipment installation issues as they arise on site with builder/consultants Manage project budgets to ensure an effective balance between service delivery and expenses in accordance with financial obligations and stakeholder expectations Ensure statutory regulations and legislative requirements are adhered to Ensure all contractors and consultants adhere to OH&S, regulatory, and Legislative requirements when engaged on site. The person we need: Demonstrated experience in project management of construction projects Demonstrated procurement experience within a project construction environment Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with management, staff and stakeholders Thorough working knowledge and substantial experience in the use of AutoCAD, computer-aided drafting system in the development of buildings and site drawings A current Working with Children's check is required for this position Click on the APPLY button or contact Merryn on 9629 9999 for a confidential discussion.
