We are looking for an experienced Strategic Partnerships Lead to join our Marketing department in our Client, Growth and Strategy division. This role will identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships and events that align with the our marketing objectives and growth initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Strategic Partnerships Lead will be responsible for 3 key areas: 1. Maintaining and developing key partnerships and associations where our products and solutions can support their members. 2. Developing and executing Cuscal events to offer value for our clients and prospects. 3. Development and execute on external event opportunities that will support support Cuscal business objectives including revenue/NPAT targets, and position Cuscal as thought-leaders to our audiences. The responsibilities in this role include: - Identify, develop and nurture strategic partnerships aligned with the company’s marketing objectives and growth initiatives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and incorporate partnership strategies into the overall marketing plan. - Explore relationships with Associations that will benefit the Cuscal brand and build a moat around our business. Ensure partnerships we invest in are providing value adds to the Association membership base. - Conduct market research to identify potential partners, assess market trends and evaluate competitive landscape, all with a view to developing and maintaining the right partnerships. - Actively seek opportunities for Cuscal's participation in policy formation to support strategic initiatives. - Manage events and partnerships within set financial plans/budgets as appropriate - Analyse partnership performance metrics and provide regular reports to leadership, identifying areas for optimisation and improvement. - Measure the ROI on all events so we make informed decision making for future events. About You This is a highly visible and critical role within Cuscal and for this reason it requires the ideal candidate to have extensive experience in strategic partnership development, ideally in a payments or financial services environment and with measured sales and revenue outcomes. As the successful candidate we request that you also have the following to be considered for the role: - Proven experience in strategic partnership development. - Proven experience in event management and execution. - B2B marketing experience - Exceptional negotiation and relationship building skills. - Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal. - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proven presentation and project management skills - Natural collaborator and can influence action and outcomes across cross-functional groups. - Analytical and critical thinking mindset, with the ability to problem solve effectively.
