We believe our people make the difference. About the role Eastern Health is currently looking for a passionate and experienced Social Worker to join our Allied Health teams. Our sites and departments are located across the eastern region of Melbourne. This role provides a service to the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit of the Maroondah Hospital. The role is supported by social work team and Senior Social worker, as well as a dynamic Allied Health Department. Opportunities for professional development are available. About you To be successful in these roles you will possess: Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the AASW Previous Social Work experience (at least 2 years) Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience A strong commitment to high quality care The ability to work as part of a diverse team Excellent communication and organisational skills Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
