More About the Role at Infosys Looking for Data Engineer (elastic data lake) with 4 years of total IT experience level and with at least 3 year of data design experience Location : Melbourne, Australia Salary Range: 90,243 AUD - 91921 AUD Annual Gross Roles and Responsibilities: - Work in collaborative teams of Business Analyst and Developers to deliver Plan, Configure, Deploy and Operate a cloud solution - Deliver Proof of Concepts for new Solutions on Cloud - Leading and delivering high quality, fit for purpose, enterprise aligned technology designs for projects and BAU releases using AWS technologies - Establishing positive working relationships with specific business customers, technology stakeholders, vendors and other service providers throughout the SDLC of an assignment or project. - Collaborative & Persuasive, Self-motivated, Research Oriented, Hands-on, Committed, Always-on learner - Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Platform - Prior experience working with version control systems (Github), build management and CI/CD tools like Jenkins - Prefer AWS Cloud Certified candidates. - Able to demonstrate experience with software engineering practices including CI/CD, Automated testing and Performance Engineering - Should have handled structured and unstructured data. Skill / Competencies / Experience: ESSENTIAL Skill/Competency Requirements: - Strong in PL/SQL,Unix - Advanced SQL, Shell scripting - Strong ETL, ELT and data warehousing concepts - Should have working knowledge of Databricks. - 4 years’ experience building and supporting large-scale, business critical systems on Public Cloud (AWS Cloud Platform) - Data Engineer (elastic data lake) with 4 years of total IT experience level and with at least 3 year of data design experience in the mix. - Redshift, EC2, S3 PREFERRED - Databricks Certification{preferred} ADDITIONAL Skills: - Should be team player - recognize and value the different perspectives and skills fellow team members bring - Should have Customer focus - understanding the customer, define the problem, and develop solutions through their eyes - Collaborative Approach - work closely with colleagues to ensure alignment and champion the sharing of learning across teams - Problem solver - use critical thinking, network, skills, knowledge, and available data to drive better outcomes for our customers All aspects of employment at Infosys are based on merit, competence and performance.
