System Setup: Assist in the setup, configuration, and installation of new hardware and software. User Account Management: Help with creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts and permissions. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems related to laptops (Windows and Mac) Documentation: Maintain and update records of IT assets, configurations, and support tickets. Security Practices: Follow and enforce security protocols to protect organisational data and systems. Asset Management: Track and manage IT assets, including inventory control, equipment allocation, and ensuring proper documentation of all assets. Training: Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on using IT systems and applications. You Key Skills/Experience Required - Experience in IT administration. - Cloud Computing: Azure or AWS - Security Practices: Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, firewalls, endpoint security, and SIEM tools. - Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating tasks. - Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot system and network issues effectively. - Help Desk Experience: Experience with ticketing systems like Jira or ServiceNow for IT support. - Soft Skills: Excellent communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills.
