More About the Role at Xero Platform Elements is a cross-functional, agile infrastructure development team dedicated to enabling Xero development teams to build and ship software efficiently, reliably, and securely. We leverage modern cloud computing tools and continuous integration practices to reduce the cognitive load for Xero Product teams, focusing on a customer-centric approach. In Networks team, we provide the multi-cloud and VPC networking for all teams through automation. We enable this service to be accessed by any Xero team through the use of APIs and ensure a secure, scalable and automated service. As an Associate Engineer, you will focus on expanding your knowledge and skills while contributing to the engineering excellence at Xero. Key responsibilities - Focus on learning and growing your knowledge and skills, contributing to the standard for engineering excellence at Xero, and supporting your team members in building products together - Contribute to our cross functional environment by working towards the same objectives, using modern engineering principles and practices - Undertake software application development on applications in our suite of products (including new ones), contributing to new or improved experiences for our customers, internal and external.
