This city shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership, will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney. WeBuild as a D&C Contractor member, will be responsible for the successful delivery of the design and construction elements of the project, and we are currently looking to appoint experienced Quality (Graduate) Engineer. Position Summary: The role of the Quality Graduate Engineer is to provide support to the Project team in the implementation and maintenance of quality control systems and processes. Working closely with the Quality Engineers and Quality Coordinators, the Quality Graduate Engineer will assist in ensuring that project requirements are met, corrective measures are developed, and reporting requirements are fulfilled. This position is aimed at graduates looking to develop a strong foundation in quality management within a project environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Quality team in implementing the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures. Maintain and update quality documentation on GLAASS and other relevant systems. Support the coordination and collection of quality documentation, ensuring that quality processes are completed in a timely manner. Assist in the preparation of quality reports, including weekly and monthly updates, and the collation of data for broader QA and project teams. Contribute to process improvement initiatives, supporting the development of corrective measures and quality control systems. Provide support and training to team members on quality processes and QA systems, ensuring clarity and understanding. Liaise with the Document Control team to ensure the QMP is effectively implemented and project quality databases are regularly updated. Assist with the preparation of information for Senior Management Reviews, and attend Management Review meetings as required, including minute-taking and follow-up actions. Participate in quality audits and assist in the implementation of corrective actions. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline. Basic understanding of project management methodologies and quality control systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture. Willingness to learn and develop a strong foundation in quality management. Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a demanding environment.
