Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Ensure efficient waste collection services within our municipality. Collect and empty mobile garbage, recycling, and green waste bins correctly. Return bins to designated areas and report any damage or issues daily. Conduct waste collection with public courtesy and promote Council's services. Rotate between garbage, recycling, and green waste services as needed. Follow instructions from team leaders and participate in waste minimization programs. Maintain accurate daily work records and conduct basic vehicle checks. Ensure the vehicle is ready for the next day's operation by cleaning and disinfecting it. Implement health and safety standards and procedures according to legislation and Council policy. Skills Required: Experience operating side loader waste collection vehicles. Must have HR Driving Licence (with expiry date) Must be able to obtain updated Police Check Understanding of safe working practices. Ability to work as part of a team to achieve group task finish.
