About the role Hanrob is seeking passionate and reliable Part-time Pet Transport Drivers to join our team in Heathcote, NSW. As a Pet Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting pets. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling to suit your lifestyle. What you'll be doing Safely operate a company vehicle to transport pets in a comfortable and secure manner Providing excellent customer service when engaging with our clients at pick up and drop off and on reception. Assist with loading and unloading pets, and ensure their safety and wellbeing during transport Collaborate with the Hanrob team to ensure efficient and reliable pet transportation services Responsible for collecting and transporting animals to our range of facilities. Shifts Shifts are rostered between the hours of 6am and 6pm including school holidays, public holidays and Christmas/Easter periods. With an average of 3-4 (6.5 hour) Pet Taxi shifts per week, there is also an expectation that you can flex up to 38 hours/week during peak periods. Additional hours are also on offer to assist the Pet Care Team in their general welfare duties. What we're looking for The holder of an unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence, with a clean driving history Experience in pet care, animal handling, or the veterinary/pet services industry Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in all situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their wellbeing Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings An experienced driver with regular access to a car to get to/from work as public transport is limited. IMPORTANT: This is an active and physical role working across the Pet Hotel. In addition to basic administrative work, the incumbent will primarily be required to work indoors and outdoors (sometimes in inclement weather conditions, and hands on with cats and dogs, on their feet for a significant portion of their day. They must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, bend, crouch, kneel, squat, reach, stretch, and restrain animals up to 50kg on leads, communicate, speak, and interact with customers, internal and external stakeholders, and members of the public in person, over the phone, and online, and occasionally take difficult conversations, including providing feedback and receiving complaints, in order to perform the inherent requirements of the role.
