Lindsay Rural is currently looking for a MR or HR Delivery Driver to join the team at our Coffs Harbour store. The integrated end-to-end rural solutions package also provides customers with the benefits of utilising Lindsay Transport’s refrigerated fleet to deliver rural supplies to farms and transporting fresh produce direct to major east coast markets. The Role: We are seeking a Delivery Driver to join our Lindsay Rural team in Coffs Harbour for local delivery work. This is a physically demanding position as you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading & transportation of customer goods and merchandise to and from customer properties. Your main responsibilities will include: Deliver and unload merchandise to rural worksites. Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company merchandise. Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology. Interacting with customers in a professional manner. Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight. In-store counter sales as required. About you: The candidates we are looking for will have: A current unrestricted manual MR Licence as a minimum A current forklift licence highly regarded but not essential. Knowledge of & experience with load restraint and mass requirements. Knowledge of & experience with the use of manual pallet jacks Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills. Have a strong customer focus. Good computer skills To be successful for this role applicants must; Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test Provide a current traffic print out Have the ability to meet the physical demands of the position – this includes repetitive bending & lifting of rural merchandise when loading & unloading at the depot and on farm.
