Rare opportunity. Director of Sales (Rail) APAC for Global business providing Products, Parts, Service & Maintenance into the Rail Industry. THE COMPANY Our client is a global provider of Industrial Products, Parts & Services sold into the Rail Industry. Due to their continued success and growth they are now looking to appoint a Director of Sales, (Rail) APAC based in Sydney. THE ROLE As the Director of Sales (Rail) APAC you will manage the business in a profitable manner whilst maintaining the highest customer relationships and service levels in accordance with company policies, processes, guidelines, and commercial practices. Responsibilities include; Lead new business and service business sales across the Mobility/Rail Division Develop and implement sales and service strategy Assure customer support via smooth operations of service workshops and field service Responsible to achieve the Rail targets (KPIs, e.g. order intake, profitability, Inventory, CE) Set and implement sales and business strategy / planning (aligned with other regions, prod. mgmt, KAM). Drive sales excellence: define and control sales and service KPIs You will bring: Graduate engineering background with 7 to 10 years’ experience preferably in the Railway industry (or similar) Experienced as sales leader preferably in Rail (or Similar) Strong communicator with customers / stakeholders at all levels Ability to communicate complex technical topics and ideas professionally effectively. Customer focus and strong sales / business development management experience. Strong Time Management, Planning and Organisation skills.
