As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Inventory Team Leader, to oversee our inventory team with the Brisbane DC. Our Brisbane Distribution Centre is the heart of our operations, where efficiency and accuracy are paramount. Position Overview: As the Warehouse Inventory Team Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory within our Brisbane DC. You will oversee the receivals and despatch processes, ensuring that all inventory movements are meticulously tracked, documented, and aligned with company standards. Your leadership will be key in driving efficiency, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting a smooth flow of goods through our supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the warehouse inventory team, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts to identify and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with inventory management procedures and company policies. Train and mentor team members on best practices in inventory management and warehouse operations. Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor inventory levels and movement. Investigate and resolve any inventory-related issues, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and accountability. Report on inventory metrics, providing insights to senior management for decision-making. Promote a safe and productive work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, preferably in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse operations. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Prior knowledge of Pronto would be beneficial but not essential. Effective communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
