Project Engineer (Civils) required to join leading tier 2 civil construction business on a permanent basis COME AND JOIN THE WOLFEPACK We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading client for an experienced Civil Project Engineer to work on a variety of Subdivision & Road Infrastructure projects Due to an extremely strong pipeline of works, alongside new contract wins, These opportunities are available to be working for one of NSW's leading Civil Construction Businesses on a permanent basis. The Role The position is an integral part of the Project Team, working closely with the Project Managers, Site Supervisors and other construction personnel, demonstrating sophistication and a talent for project management, project administration, resources and material utilisation. This role offers the right candidate a great opportunity to fast-track to progress into a Project Management role. Responsible for engineering support and delivery of the Project scope Work closely with the Project Manager to prepare work schedules, assigning and communicating work priorities Be thoroughly familiar with the works scope, drawings and schedule for delivery Communicate directly with the Client and our site management team on project issues Managing quality documents, compliance and the project reporting requirements in accordance with our management systems and procedures Coordinate the necessary resources including personnel, plant, materials and subcontractors to deliver our works Facilitate and support the site management team, reviewing and providing information necessary for our works to be completed in a safe manner ABOUT YOU: Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering Minimum five (5) years' experience working on Civil Construction Projects & Sub-divisions Strong all-round communication skills to manage client interactions and ability to lead others Able to prioritise, manage time well, multi-task and troubleshoot Experience in project planning, scheduling and reporting skills – MS Project or Primavera Project financial & cost management skills and ability to prepare accurate forecasts and reports on project status Experience in driving performance improvements and/or change in projects that have clear success indicators Flexible and adaptable to changes in the business Ability to work both autonomously when required and as part of a team Committed to safety, problem solving and working as part of a team Whats in it for you?
