The role: The purpose of the Contract Administrator role at Yurra is to provide high quality administrative support to the landscaping team. You will be part of a vibrant landscaping team where your role will be exposed to a diverse range of tasks. You will be responsible for the following: • Sourcing trees and plants from nurseries (some knowledge of plants advantageous), sourcing construction materials and placing orders • Coordinating and tracking deliveries to the Northwest using contracted freight company • Effectively administer contracts through all phases, including reviewing contract documentation, preparation of variations, progress claims and general correspondence • Helping with quoting and tendering – including taking off quantities from hard copy plans, obtaining quotations from suppliers, setting up cost estimating spreadsheets • Compiling Building Permit applications • Compiling as Built and Handover Documentation • Filing photos, correspondence, POs, delivery dockets, recording document transmittals etc. in One Drive Job folders to maintain QA compliance • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (for ordering and quoting), Word for presentation of tender submissions and Adobe Acrobat. • Familiar with using Near maps (not essential – can be trained) • Other varied administrative tasks and general office duties where required.
