With a rapidly growing presence, the company is on track to double in size in its second year , and this is your chance to lead the charge . Primary Focus You will play a key role in shaping & implementing the company’s Go-to-Market Strategy for Australasia, working closely with the marketing team to generate leads & grow the sales pipeline. With a substantial marketing budget at your disposal, you’ll have Global support to hit the ground running, attending industry events, exhibitions & conferences to build relationships and generate new business. Who are you? While experience is valuable, it’s not everything. What truly sets you apart is your desire, passion, and self-starter attitude. You bring the initiative and drive to succeed, which will override everything else. You’ll need to hit the ground running in the education tech space, but if you have the hunger to grow and build, this is the role for you. 2-3 years of experience in the Australian Education Sector (though a passion for success can outweigh years of experience) A self-starter with the ability to develop strategies, build pipelines, and drive growth in a competitive marketplace Demonstrated success in new business sales of software/technology-based solutions (SAAS) Strong commercial acumen, with excellent negotiation and influencing skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels Adept at delivering value-focused presentations that meet customer needs Confident in leveraging technology and using IT solutions to optimize business processes Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a sales plan to maximise pipeline development and achieve targets in Year 1 Work closely with marketing to qualify and progress leads, ensuring a strong pipeline of opportunities Attend key events like school association exhibitions, conferences, and seminars, while leading prospect meetings Maintain an accurate pipeline and sales forecast, ensuring strong tracking of opportunities Deliver impactful, value-driven sales presentations and product demos Negotiate deals that maximise revenue while providing exceptional value to customers Provide internal teams with customer feedback to enhance the value proposition and maintain a competitive edge Stay on top of market trends and competitor activity to speak with credibility and authority to schools and institutions What’s in it for you?
