Whether you are experienced or new to the field, we welcome applicants who share our values of respect, collaboration, and innovation. We are particularly interested in speaking to : Experienced male support workers with life experience who can offer understanding and support in challenging situations; having a background in mental health is an added advantage. Experienced female support workers who can provide both social and in-home support, helping participants thrive in all aspects of their lives. Support workers who love dancing and movement, and have an interest in running sessions with participants to get them moving and enjoying music. At Bunji, we match our workers with participants based on life experience, shared interests, from hobbies and sports to creative pursuits. Our services support participants across all levels of complexity and age groups, focusing on individual goals and promoting choice and control. We have one to one supports, group outings, programs like School Leaver Employment Support and Short Term Accommodation, as well as special interest groups like movement classes and social groups. These cater for the different experiences which are meaningful to our participants. We are looking for individuals who can work consistent yet flexible hours to suit our participants. Generally, hours are between 8 am and 6 pm from Monday to Sunday, however we also have a number of evening sessions depending on the needs of our participants and our programs. Candidates will also be required to meet the following compliance: Current Working With Children Check; Current NDIS Worker Screening Check; Access to reliable insured vehicle; Current Drivers Licence and good driving record; Mobile Phone with Internet access; Minimum three COVID-19 vaccination doses; Current annual Influenza vaccination.
