Oasis creates practical work and employment opportunities for young people through youth programs, vocational training, and social enterprises, including the Oasis Cafes About the role We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Cafe Supervisor to run and oversee all cafe operations and to supervise the staff, students, and volunteers. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this is a permanent, full-time position based in Wyong, NSW. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Hospitality Industry Award Level 5. You will successfully Oversee all front-of-house operations at the Oasis Cafe, ensuring smooth, efficient service. Collaborate with the chef and Hospitality trainer/assessor to manage day-to-day cafe activities. Establish and implement procedures for all front-of-house operations to maintain high standards. Develop and promote business strategies to drive continuous growth and community engagement. Support vocational training courses by providing hands-on experience and, potentially, some classroom-based instruction. Ensure compliance with industry legislation and standards for hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the cafe. You will have Proven industry experience in the hospitality sector, including expertise as a Barista for at least 3 years. A current NSW Employee Working with Children Check. A current NSW Driver Licence. A current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one. Experience supervising trainees, students, or volunteers in a fast-paced environment. A qualification in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable). Experience as a vocational trainer or assessor (preferred but not essential). A commitment to upholding industry hygiene and cleaning standards.
