Engeny is seeking a Principal/Senior Engineer with strong experience in water infrastructure planning and design including water supply networks, wastewater networks or water security to join our Integrated Water Planning team. About the Role As a Principal/Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in providing consultancy and technical services across any of the below focus areas: • Concept and detailed (not mandatory) design, planning or feasibility assessments of water or wastewater infrastructure • Water or wastewater network modelling • Water security assessments • Asset management of water or wastewater infrastructure Key Responsibilities • Technical leadership and oversight in the delivery of projects within your focus area. • Project management within your focus area, including budgets, timelines and client relationships. • Business development with new and existing clients to support revenue and the strategic direction of the Integrated Water Planning team. • Team mentoring and coaching. • Proposal writing. • Input into the Integrated Water Planning team’s and the wider Engeny business strategies. • Potential for cross-disciplinary project work in any of our disciplines at Engeny. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, coupled with consulting experience. • Demonstrated expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure planning, across any of the focus areas listed above. • Business development based on existing and new client relationships. • Strong project management capability and interest. • Desire to develop and support junior engineers, passing on key technical skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. • Chartered Engineer / RPEQ (or the ability to obtain these certifications). • Detailed design experience is beneficial but not necessary.
