About the role The Mater Hospital Administration team has an opportunity available for an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join their team working in our Audiology, Speech Pathology and Cochlear Implant Administration team. This is a permanent, part time role (32 hours per week Monday- Thursday) Salary range:$36.51 - $40.81 (MCA 3) per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 access to many staff benefits What you’ll be doing This position is a Senior Administration Officer within Audiology/Speech Pathology and Cochlear Implant Team. Your role will involve but not be limited to: Providing Exceptional Customer Service to patients and clients Booking and managing outpatient appointments in TAHDIS (Team Allied Health Data Information System) Register and update patient details in iPM Invoice/receipt patients in Totalcare and using HICAPS. (Including workcover, NDIS and DVA patients) CI Tele-audiology booking CI appointments booking Phone & email queries CI & Audiology CI Database management Billing Arranging Speech Pathology and Audiology appointments Following up outstanding patient accounts Manage phone calls from patients and clinical staff taking a variety of enquiries Stock ordering in D365 and WINC Provide administrative assistance to other senior staff and others as requested Exercise judgement where necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined About you To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Previous Totalcare/billing experience (highly desirable) Previous experience in using HICAPS (desirable) Must be able to work autonomously as well a team High level of customer service, verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask, organise and prioritise work effectively within a busy, fast-paced, demanding environment Highly developed time management and organisational skills Strong computer skills including competence in Administration systems (and the ability to quickly learn new systems) Ability to use programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel Why join us?
