About the role The Senior DERMs Engineer will lead the registration, validation, and testing of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) onto Jemena DERMs systems. The Engineer will ensure connections fit the requirements of the connection process and will participate within the customer connections workflow taking ownership of connections processing onto the Jemena DERMs. The Engineer will drive the continuous improvement of DER processes and systems. Key Responsibilities include Communication with internal & external stakeholders Technology and process review and Jemena Stabilisation strategy Working with Customer Teams, Asset Management and Digital. Continuous improve the systems and processing of DER connections Connections to Jemena DERMs systems meet requirements of the connection process Participation in Customer workflows is collaborative and meets KPIs About You Strong understanding of electricity distribution network topology and the configuration management of SCADA, AMI and DERMs Strong understanding of the Common Smart Inverter Profile (CSIP-Aus) Distribution Electricity industry background is preferred, in a hands-on OT role DERMs background and experience Asset connection/commissioning CSIP-AUS inverters onto DERMs application Configuration management of an OT system Certificate registration Our people are our energy source and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
