They are now seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide varied administration support by working with the Project Coordinators, Legal team and General Manager in managing the day to day office administration, contractual obligations, variations, claims and documentation while providing compliance across these areas. Key Responsibilities: Contract Administration: Contracts received, co-ordinate reviews with the legal team, finalised and signed. Compliance: Assist in ensuring all contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements and subcontractor compliance. Project Administration: In conjunction with the project coordinators and site supervisors, ensure contract terms and specifications are implemented accurately and efficiently. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of contracts, correspondence and keeping data up to date. Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding contract-related matters. Foster effective communication and collaboration between project teams, builders and subcontractors. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline contract processes and enhance efficiency. Finance and Office Administration: Assist in the confirmation and coding of purchase orders, supplier and subcontractor bills. Follow up claim confirmations from builders and follow up payments. Retentions: Monitoring and timely claiming of all builder retentions. Skills and Experience required for this position: 2-3 years proven experience as a Contracts Administrator in the construction and/or commercial flooring industry. An understanding of construction contracts, contract compliance, procurement including negotiating terms. Knowledge and understanding of potential risks associated with contracts, such as liabilities, disputes, and delays beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with XERO accounting software desirable Willingness to undertake a variety of other tasks and responsibilities as required.
