About the role The Mater Hospital Administration team has an opportunity available for an experienced Administration Officer to join their team working in our Allied Health, Emotional Health and CVI Administration team on a casual basis at our South Brisbane location. Salary range: $29.53 - $34.28 (MCA2) per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and casual loading and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 access to many staff benefits What you’ll be doing Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients Book and manage outpatient appointments in TAHDIS (Team Allied Health Data Information System) Register and update patient details in iPM Invoice/receipt patients in Totalcare and using HICAPS Manage phone calls from patients and clinical staff taking a variety of enquiries Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, complying with administration, and financial policy and procedures. Maintaining accurate, current and accessible files Provide administrative assistance to senior admin staff and others as requested About you To be successful in this role you will meet the following in the following: Ability to work autonomously as well a team Ability to learn and retain a lot of information quickly (this position will be working across all receptions listed above) Flexible and adaptable High level of customer service, verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask, organise and prioritise work effectively within a busy, fast-paced and demanding environment Highly developed time management and organisational skills Strong computer skills including competence in Administration systems (and the ability to quickly learn new systems) Ability to use programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel Why join us?
