Description St Andrews Christian College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Teacher - Primary to join our team in Wantirna South. As a member of the Learning Support department, you will play a vital role in providing support to primary school students, ensuring their educational needs are met. The main responsibilities and tasks of the role include: Deliver tailored learning support to primary school students with diverse educational needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement individualised learning plans and strategies. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Develop and adapt teaching resources to cater for different learning styles and abilities. Work closely with parents, caregivers, and external specialists to address students' specific learning challenges. Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions undertaken. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge of best practices in learning support.
