Please click here for: Our statement of faith About the role: HR Administration Officer Employment Type: Permanent Part Time Start Date : January 2025 Full Time Description The HR Administration Officer will support the Human Resources department by handling administrative tasks, managing staff data, coordinating recruitment activities, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. This role requires a commitment to the College's Christian ethos and an ability to manage responsibilities efficiently, with confidentiality and professionalism. Position Duties: Maintaining and updating employee files and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Managing training records and work-related certificates to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Managing the HR inbox, assisting with employee and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Communicating with job candidates in a supportive and professional way throughout the recruitment process. Filing and maintaining HR documents in an organized and accessible manner. Assisting with job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications efficiently. Preparing onboarding materials and facilitating new employee inductions to ensure smooth integration. Supporting various HR projects or initiatives as needed, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR functions. Selection Criteria: Performing other duties as required to support the HR function and meet College needs. Professional Disposition: Warm, friendly, and professional in all interactions, building positive relationships. Administrative and Time Management Skills: Strong administration experience with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Communication and Composure: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, staying calm under pressure. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new HR software like BambooHR and Sharepoint. Confidentiality: Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and adhere to privacy standards. Knowledge of HR Policies: Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation. Previous experience in similar role highly desirable. Essential Criteria: To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community and exemplify Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices. To accept the College’s Statement of Faith. Build co-operative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students and parents. Work to ensure personal best practice. Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair. Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication. Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos. Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC. First Aid certificate. Working With Children Card.
