BENEFITS Immediate start in this contract role with a review for extension or transition to permanent 35 hours per week with flexible start and finish times A great team culture that prioritises flexibility and work life balance ABOUT THE POSITION As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for the contract management of both new and existing contracts across the Council’s network including service and maintenance for Water & Sewer and all assets that exist such as pressure vessels, plumbing, chemical deliveries. Where required, you will also ensure the deployment of a rigorous risk management system, Risk Register and liaise with stakeholders to identify mitigation measures. DUTIES Manage all new and existing contracts across the network of Council for the tender process, documentation, evaluation and overall contract management Receive and manage contract deliverables, variations, changes, etc. Ensure contracts are being met and delivered between Council & the Contractors Monitor budgetary spending against pre-determined targets. Weigh up options on a cost basis to make recommendations and continuously look for greater efficiency within projects SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Tertiary Qualifications in Project Management, Business Administration or relevant experience in Contract Administration Contract management experience in civil projects is desirable Adaptable and flexible attitude, someone who takes initiative and immerses themselves in the role Good communication skills, verbal and written with proficiency in Microsoft Suite CULTURE Enjoy a vibrant workspace with a small, collaborative, and energetic team.
