Job Description APS6 Project and Instructional Design Lead Approximate 10-month contract| Canberra Location | $60.73 - $68.51 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation OVERVIEW Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Project and Instructional Design Lead to join their team at the APS6 level. Within this role you will develop high quality learning material, undertake graphic design work and manage communication activities. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Under limited direction, synthesise and analyse technical and/or regulatory information and develop into high quality e-learning material in accordance with instructional design principles, including scientific content writing, design and build using specialist software. Ability to undertake instructional and graphic design work to optimise learning experience (functional, effective and visually attractive) for high quality e-learning course development. Ability to write clearly and concisely about complex matters, draft content for high learning impact on technical subjects. Plan, develop and manage communication activities and manage RSS enquiries. Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks, respond positively and flexibly to change and produce high quality outputs to tight deadlines. Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment, contribute to the work of others, and support colleagues and senior leaders. EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS Candidates must be able to demonstrate: Graphic design capability, particularly in developing engaging infographics to simplify complex information. Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly PhotoShop and Illustrator. Strong writing skills and the ability to simplify complex information into plain language with high learning impact. Experience using Articulate software for developing e-learning courses, particularly Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline desirable. Experience or knowledge of medicines and/or medical terminology (or demonstrated ability to quickly learn science-related content) desirable. Experience using Microsoft SharePoint Online desirable.
