An extremely rare opportunity for an experienced Manager, with a proven business services and advisory background, to join this boutique practice. Our Client is a progressive, cloud based, taxation, advisory and financial planning firm working with small to medium business clients. Due to a planned retirement of one of the Partners they are now seeking an experienced Senior Manager who is eager to advance their career to Partnership with equity on offer. Whilst bringing your own book of clients would be viewed favourable it is not a mandatory requirement. The Senior Manager role involves managing a sizeable portfolio of high-end taxation and business advisory clients in conjunction with the Managing Partner. The core focus of your role will be to maintain and build client relationships while supporting and developing your team. You will be someone who has ambition, with a desire to advance your career to the partnership level. Someone who enjoys variety, has a strong technical and commercial skill set, able to comfortably prioritise, delegate and manage workflow. You will be a team player who is approachable and personable. Someone that feels comfortable and confident in new client meetings and equally amenable to assist the team. Your role will include: Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships. Provision of accounting, taxation and advisory advice to clients. Involvement in special projects such as restructures, business sales and acquisitions. Management of all aspects of client compliance including lodgement list, workflow, technical review and billing. Involvement in new business leads and the identification of referral opportunities within the existing client base. Management of 3-5 staff members including mentoring, training and performance management. Ideally you will: Be CA/CPA Qualified. Have technical experience within a business services/advisory environment. Have previous staff management or mentoring experience. Be able to prioritise, delegate and review work for your team.
