Forklift Operator/Machine Offsider Glendenning location Initial Monday to Friday, Moving to 3 x 12 hour shifts once trained. Immediate interview and start Now Careers is partnered with a metal and plastic packaging specialist, based in Western Sydney who are looking to add a forklift operator/machine offsider to their team. The role will be 5 days while you are brought up to speed with training, with the option to change to 3 x 12 hour shifts once fully trained. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hybrid role where you will split your time between learning and assisting machine operators and also operating forklifts to load/unload materials safely and efficiently. Ongoing training and support in your role. Great team culture. Responsibilities: Perform manual handling of tinplate and stillage boards - up to 12kg. Assist with machine operation in a fast paced environment. Safely operate forklifts in warehouse environment. Assist with machine wash-ups using solvents and inks. Maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas. Work within a team to ensure completion of all jobs on time. What we are looking for: Reliability and punctuality for all shifts.
