The Role and Environment: Toll are seeking experienced and committed Forklift Drivers for immediate ongoing work with warehouses based around Sydney's Western Suburbs. The warehouses are fast paced environments and you will need to have a keen eye for detail and work in an accurate manner. These roles require candidates immediately and provide an ongoing opportunity for proven performers with a can-do attitude. You will be responsible for the safe storage and distribution of various items (healthcare, retail and consumerable) and may be working in a temperature controlled areas. Operators will use both high reach and counter balance forklifts along with ride on pallet jacks. There are various pay rates on offer (between $32/hr-$40/hr depending on shift/location) and working hours are during the day or afternoon Monday-Friday. Key Responsibilities: Operation of forklifts - both high reach and counter balance - various brands Crown, Toyota, Linde Unloading stock from containers Picking and packing orders Manual Handling Palletising stock and moving with manual and electric pallet jacks Reading and understanding instructions with high attention to detail Taking on heavy lifting and other manual tasks as required Required Experience: Have a current LF Forklift License with relevant experience (this will need to be backed up by reputable references) Have intermediate reading and communication skills Good operational understanding of duties in the warehouse environment Proven reliability - we need team players who can 100% commit to the role (this will also need to be backed up by a reputable reference) Willingness to undertake manual handling and other duties on ground level when needed - these roles will not be entirely operating machinery Be safety obsessed Benefits: Working with a highly reputable brands across healthcare, retail and transport 8 hour shifts available from Monday-Friday on various shifts Ongoing assignments for proven performers Competitive pay rates About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
