Our client is seeking a Front-End Construction Lawyer to join their top-tier team. You will be involved in advising clients on all legal aspects of construction and infrastructure projects, from drafting and negotiating contracts to risk management and regulatory compliance. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives on managing the complexities of large-scale projects while working alongside leading industry players. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts Advise on project delivery models, including EPC and design-build contracts Provide counsel on risk allocation and project finance Manage contract administration and project variations Support clients in navigating local regulatory frameworks Lead negotiations with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations Advise on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects and joint ventures Conduct due diligence on potential construction partners and stakeholders Support dispute avoidance through proactive contract management Liaise with government bodies and regulatory authorities Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project delivery Keep clients informed of emerging trends in construction law Participate in business development activities, including client presentations Provide mentorship to junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing Qualifications and Experience 3-4 years’ experience in front-end construction law, preferably in a top-tier or global firm Strong understanding of Australian construction law and regulatory frameworks Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, energy, or commercial property projects Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex construction agreements Excellent contract management and risk mitigation skills Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Admission as a solicitor in Australia Postgraduate qualifications in construction law or a related field would be advantageous Benefits Competitive benefits package.
