About the Role Conceptualise and design engaging, on-brand digital assets (still with a touch of motion) that effectively communicate key marketing messages and inspire action in line with campaign objectives for the various brands and partners of this insurance provider. You will join an internal team of digital designers and have a broad scope of work. No day or project will be the same. Design and manage device optimised digital assets for key marketing channels including responsive websites, interactive content marketing campaigns, promotional landing pages, social media, and banner ads; Experience and ability to edit and cut pre-existing video creative into required formats, such as YouTube bumper ads, outdoor, online display ads, and social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok); Support the team members and assist in understanding of the creative brief and work closely with the other designers and developers to bring the ideas to life; Proficient in website and landing page design and ability to engage key stakeholders to lock in scope and direction; Create both static & motion HTML5 banners that will be used to amplify our marketing campaigns; Own and be responsible for the brand style guide and work with the team to keep our style guide up to date; and Inspire and motivate the team to keep up to date with the latest design, content marketing and UX trends and research. The Ideal Candidate Most importantly, you will be a team player and enjoy collaborating with a suite of strong creatives. Beyond that you will have; Minimum five years’ experience working in a digital design and video editing role; Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field; A portfolio or examples of previous work; Expert in Google Web Designer, Figma and Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Premiere Pro & Adobe Media Encoder. Figma is preference as they are in the midst of transferring over to using this as their main platform; Experienced in executing UI and UX best practice across a variety of platforms and devices; An understanding of mobile first and responsive web design is a must; Experience in curating, editing, and exporting video assets for major Australian digital media channels such as JCDecaux, Val Morgan and Westfield, is desirable; and Ability to handle and prioritise multiple design tasks at once and meet deadlines.
