About the Role Head of Design This position will be responsible for developing and overseeing the design curriculum and creative projects across the school. You will work closely with faculty, students and administration to promote a design-thinking approach. The purpose of the position is to: (i) Communicate effectively with students, parents and the wider school community about design initiatives and successes. (ii) Establish positive relationships with students, parents / guardians, staff and external agencies in line with the College’s vision and values (iii) Collaborate with faculty across disciplines to integrate design principles into various subjects. (iv) Identify and intervene in behavioral and safeguarding issues (v) Manage budget and resources for the design department (vi) Organize workshops, events and projects that encourage student engagement in design. Selection Criteria Teacher’s registration to teach in Victoria Qualifications supporting degree in Design, Fine Arts, Education or a related field Commitment to the Christian Ethos of the College Have excellent relationship and communication skills IB Experience Preferred Special requirements All selected applicants will have to go through background checks, including reference checks and relevant regulatory checks.
