The role: Ideally the candidate will be a proficient Senior Electrical Engineer that possesses the experience and skillset that's required to lead the business. You will head up a high performing team including electrical and mechanical engineers, by way of sharing your knowledge and business management experience. You will control operations in all areas including talent acquisition, mentoring, business planning and dispute resolution. A strong desire to service clients, through previous business management experience, as well as expert industry knowledge will both be strong attributes of the successful individual. Your core duties & responsibilities will include: Heading up and leading operations of a successful ACT business Experience in analysis, calculations, and models to ensure performance and reliability is at its peak. Be an approachable leader by sharing your skills and knowledge. Encouraging and driving Collaboration across the team to ensure the client is always receiving the highest quality service and therefore the best product. Constant research of the industry, keeping up with latest releases and developing technologies, along with best practice in the field. Always be looking to improve by being aware of in electrical engineering and incorporate relevant innovations to projects. What you will need to succeed: You have a thirst for industry knowledge and a passion to drive the team to succeed through your can-do and client focussed attitude. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related field High level of experience in business management and electrical engineering, with a specialty in building services Extensive knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and relevant standards. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD and Revit, as well as electrical design programs You have proven written and oral communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive relationships. Disciplined with remarkable organisational skills to meet targets and purpose. Effective and efficient use of time to ensure a timelines and targets are achieved by the team What's on offer?
