We are looking for an exceptional Sales Manager to join our growing team and support our vision for 2025 and beyond. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead a team of 15-20 sales and customer service representatives, playing a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategies, improving the customer journey, and driving the success of both prospective students and their families. This role requires someone who is proactive, solution-focused, and structured but also personable and approachable. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leading by example while driving the team toward excellence. Who Are We We empower students and their studies by providing highly engaging small-group tutoring designed to prepare them for school assessments and final exams. Our sessions are presented by experienced but young tutors who can teach the study design in a simple and intuitive yet engaging way. Over 3,500 students and 90 staff have joined our tutoring services since our founding in 2020. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 15-20 sales & customer service representatives, handling day-to-day escalations and ensuring smooth operations. Standardise sales procedures by developing and maintaining SOPs, providing ongoing training, and formalising documentation and policies. Conduct regular team performance reviews (monthly or quarterly), with weekly stand-ups for team and department leaders. Design and execute a sales strategy to achieve Contour’s growth targets for 2025 and beyond. Collaborate with the General Manager and Talent Acquisition team to recruit, onboard, and train new team members to meet increasing demands. Personally handle sales calls with prospective parents and students to stay close to the customer experience and lead by example. Continuously improve your skills as a sales leader through professional development as the team and organisation grow. Lead cross-departmental meetings to ensure sales strategies align with the overall goals of Contour. Improve and enhance the customer service journey to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction and retention. Recommend improvements to the CRM system and digital automation processes to streamline and optimise sales workflows. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in managing a high-performing sales team, ideally in education or a service-oriented environment. Strong process-oriented mindset, with a keen ability to develop and implement structured sales practices. A proactive, solution-driven attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills that make you approachable and personable as a leader. Experience in designing and executing effective sales strategies to drive growth and improve customer experience.
