With a seating capacity of 50 guests, Bella Vista Manly is renowned for serving an extensive selection of fresh, healthy breakfast options and modern Italian dishes for lunch, seven days a week. On behalf of the company, we are seeking or a skilled Café and Restaurant Manager to join the team on a full-time basis. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Plan and organise restaurant events, parties and functions. Manage stock levels and record financial transactions and budgets. Coordinate daily front-of-house (FOH) or back-of-house (BOH) restaurant operations. Develop menus in collaboration with the Chefs. Oversee the opening and closing shifts of the restaurant. Assist wait staff in welcoming diners, taking orders or serving food during peak hours. Manage all costs in purchases, flag risk expenses in advance and manage pricing to ensure they meet budget requirements. Maintaining a secure, healthy environment by enforcing sanitation standards and practices. Deliver superior food service and maximise customer satisfaction. Respond efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer requests or complaints. Constantly gauge customer satisfaction to determine the quality of services provided and cuisine served by asking for feedback. Train and develop new staff members, appraising staff performance and providing feedback to improve their productivity. Supervise and monitor restaurant staff during service. Qualifications and Skills: At least a Certificate III or IV in Hospitality Management or any other managerial field. 2 years of proven experience as a Café or Restaurant Manager. Great communication skills and proactive attitude. Excellent time management skills. Attention to detail and analytical vision. Exceptional mentoring and feedback skills. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
