ABOUT YOUR ROLE You will play a critical role in enhancing the lives of individuals living with disabilities, providing care tailored to their unique needs. Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with daily living activities, working to reach their goals, and community engagement. Provide specialized care for clients with brain injuries, neurological conditions, and complex physical needs. Work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals to deliver person-centered care. Thorough shift notes and following care plans. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR A positive, reliable, empathic approach to support people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability Demonstrated proven experience working with complex disabilities care such as PEG/NGT feeding, bowel care and catheter care Experience in the field of mental health and challenging behaviors Proven can-do, positive, and willing attitude ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Minimum 3 years of experience in disability care. Experience working with complex care participants. Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or related fields. Flexibility to travel across East and Southeast Melbourne and work varied shifts.
