About the Role: As a Quality Engineering Manager, you will demonstrate passionate and enthusiastic leadership of the testing activities at a program / project level, and be involved in the planning, monitoring and control of the testing activities to a high standard of quality. This includes identifying the amount of effort, the levels, and types of testing to be executed, driving program delivery to the Strategy and Plan you have shaped, by understanding client requirements and vendor management. Lead, plan and deliver Test Strategies/Test Plans for complex projects or programs of work Providing estimates for resource utilisation through a project Management and delivery of successful projects Management and Leading of teams both on and/or off shore Identify potential test issues and developing corrective action plans Business development if/when required Coaching, appraising and mentoring staff Essential Skills and Experience: Hands on experience in Test Management/Test Consultant experience covering all areas of SDLC/STLC Skills across numerous test levels, supporting Agile, V-Model, Waterfall and Hybrid testing methodologies. Mentor fellow team members in areas of project expertise Working within a team responsible for the analysis and planning of the testing within large scale projects Providing estimates for testing activities (time, people, environments etc.) Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions Experience with liaising with stakeholders at all levels, and working with Planit’s Practice Leads to drive the business forward Execute test cases and report results, raise and close defects when necessary Strong SQL skills to validate data from multiple sources like Files, XMLs, Databases Outstanding verbal and written communication Desirable Skills: Certified ISTQB Advanced Test Management Certified in Certified Agile Essentials or Certified Agile Testing courses.
