Administrative Coordinator, Clerk Grade 7/8 Package includes salary depending on experience ($106,025 - $117,363) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Temporary full-time role until 30 June 2026 Located in Coffs Harbour (2 days per week from Dorrigo) About the Role National Parks and Wildlife Service has a great opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator to work as part of the close-knit team based in Coffs Harbour & Dorrigo and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and aboriginal heritage of NSW. The Administrative Coordinator provides a comprehensive range of effective and efficient administrative, accounting and human resources support activities for the North Coast Branch work units. The role manages a team of administrative staff to coordinate and deliver administrative services to the work area as well as supporting the Dorrigo Arc Rainforest Centre and Escarpment Great Walk project team who are delivering new visitor facilities and tourism opportunities. About You As an Administrative Coordinator you are adept at managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with inter-connected teams and across the organisation. In addition to your strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail, you will have proven ability to work with stakeholders to ensure the business needs of the unit are met whilst exercising sound judgement and discretion. To succeed in the role, you will need to be self-motivated and have an ability to work both independently as well as part of a team. Ideally, you have gained experience in a similar role where you were responsible for managing a team, preparing budgets, analysing financial and HR reports, identifying budget variances and recommending and implementing solutions. You would also have experience handling complex and/or sensitive enquiries as well as a range of functions pertaining to procurement, human resources, recruitment and fleet administration to ensure the business needs of the unit are met. Essential Requirements Demonstrated experience in administration including financial and human resource systems and operations, and a working knowledge and ability to interpret relevant legislation and regulations. Demonstrated ability to prepare high level complex reports, briefings and correspondence in a timely manner.
