About the role Our Business Unit Coordinator provides critical high-level and confidential support to our Head of Safety and Wellbeing and Lead Team. You must have strong interpersonal skills to build a rapport with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a high level of organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities whilst delivering a high standard of work. You will work closely with the Lead Team to provide support across a wide range of areas of business administration services such as diary and travel management, events coordination, attending to ministerial correspondence and preparation of Executive and Board papers. What the role will involve: Proactively coordinate and perform administrative support across the Business Unit. Organise correspondence, manage ministerial activities, and handle lead team scheduling and diary management. Guide and influence administration activities, delegate work, and provide input into performance agreements. Lead and develop the administration function, ensuring knowledge sharing of corporate and group requirements. Liaise and coordinate information with external and internal stakeholders and committees as required. Key skills and experience We are seeking a highly skilled professional with substantial support and administrative experience in a similar role within a large, state-wide multifunctional organisation. You will have sound knowledge of procedures and protocols for Board, Executive, and other Committee Meeting Papers. You will demonstrate proficiency in communication, planning and organising, continuous improvement, problem-solving, and decision-making. Additionally, advanced skills in information management, record keeping, applications and systems, procurement, and expense management are essential for this role. Sound like a match?
