What We’re Looking For As our Associate Systems Engineer , you will be responsible for providing systems engineering input on projects, managing requirements, and ensuring compliance with standards. Additionally, you will maintain the risk management files for developed products in accordance with established procedures. Your role will include: Plan and implementation of system engineering activities in projects. Maintain and update requirements for Saluda products. Collaborate with engineering disciplines including Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure design meets requirements effectively. Work with Quality, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to ensure the product complies with the requirements and expectations of regulatory bodies. Participate in the review of requirements, design, and testing. Ensure the system meets internal specifications and international standards by direct performance of V&V activities, delegation of V&V activities, and/or subcontracting thereof, as appropriate. Develop protocols and reports. Assist with the maintenance of the risk management files. Write technical reports and presentations when appropriate. About you: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering discipline. Strong problem-­solving and leadership skills. Ability to learn and understand complex systems. It’s not essential, but nice if you have: Experience in writing requirements, specifications, test protocols, and design documents using a documented development methodology Experience working in multidisciplinary teams Experience in taking medical device designs through the regulatory approval process Experience in working in a regulated industry.
